My Approach

I am a relational therapist. Humans are social creatures, and healing often happens in connection with others. The relationship between therapist and client can serve as a welcoming, non-judgmental space to explore issues that are impacting your life and practice new ways of relating to yourself & others.

When working with me, we will focus on creating that healing space together. I draw from several different therapy styles to create a unique approach tailored to you. I like to find a balance between talking/processing and practical skill building, and I bring in non-talking approaches as well, like art, body awareness (somatics), and mindfulness. Sometimes, clients find it helpful to have “homework” or weekly goals to work on between sessions, but it’s not required.

I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people (like those who are Autistic or have ADHD). If you are exploring your gender or sexual identity, I am here to support you in that journey. If you’re trying to navigate living in a society that wasn’t designed for your brain/body, I can help you find strategies for better living that don’t force you to hide who you are.

I bring an anti-oppressive lens to all my work. Together, we can explore how forces like racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and fatphobia impact you. My goal is that you will leave therapy feeling empowered to live your most authentic life.
