I work with teens/tweens ages 11 and up. Most kids and teenagers are balancing SO much - figuring out who you are, making friends & dealing with drama, and trying to stay on top of school & other responsibilities.

All of those demands can lead to issues like depression, hopelessness, anxiety, lack of motivation, difficulty at school, and conflict at home.

Therapy (also called counseling) can give you a safe space to process what’s going on, learn new ways to deal with life’s challenges, and gain hope for the future. During therapy, I want you to feel like you are steering the ship, setting the pace of our time together and focusing on the things that are important to you.

Therapy is most successful when your parents, caregivers, or other important adults are supporting you along the way. I will involve parents/family when appropriate, while also honoring your privacy and boundaries. This looks different for everyone, and we will talk about what feels comfortable for YOU.

(We will also talk about when I am legally required to share information with your parent/guardian, like keeping you or others safe from serious harm.)

I specialize in working with trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth, and have both lived experience and professional training in this area. I can also provide letters for gender-affirming medical care.
